Vance Barz is from Sauk Rapids, Minnesota, and is currently competing at St. Cloud State University while continuing to develop his skills at one of the top D2 wrestling programs in the country. Before competing collegiately, Vance built an impressive high school career in Minnesota wrestling.
Vance was a three-time MSHSL State Tournament entrant and a two-time MSHSL State Placewinner at 157 pounds. His experience competing at both the state and collegiate levels allows him to bring valuable technique and work ethic in the weight room and wrestling room.
