McCoy Tekautz

Originally from Rushford, Minnesota, McCoy Tekautz brings a high level of competitive wrestling experience at both the national and collegiate levels. McCoy competed at Iowa Lakes Community College, where he continued to develop his craft against strong junior college competition at 165 pounds.

McCoy has also competed at an elite national level, placing 4th at the U23 World Team Trials, showcasing his ability to compete with some of the top emerging wrestlers in the country. In high school, he was a three-time MSHSL State Tournament entrant and a two-time MSHSL State Placewinner, establishing himself as one of Minnesota’s top competitors.

Alongside his wrestling accomplishments, McCoy is also a Pro Fighter, reflecting his toughness and combat-sport background. He brings a hard-nosed style, high pace, and valuable competitive experience to the room, helping push athletes in both training and competition environments.
